The girlfriend of a man that was assaulted in Ashford by two drunken bullies has been praised for her courage to tackle the men.
Marta Suchomski stood between her boyfriend and the two men as he was violently being kicked and punched.
Judge James O’Mahony stated that Marta had pleaded and put her own body on the line to stop them, which as a result meant she and her husband both got assaulted for her bravery.
Father of three, Tony Fuller, aged 25, has now been sentenced to 27 months in jail.
