The owners of Margate’s Dreamland site are rebranding their company following the death of businessman Jimmy Godden. Margate Town Centre Regeneration Company has re-launched itself as DreamlandLive, and will be in Margate this summer to explain its proposals for the site.
One of the plans for the site includes a 4D simulator, exactly like the one at the Kennedy Space Centre in America. The state of the art 4D experience will be brought at a cost of £4m, and will stimulate all the senses as viewers watch a film featuring Dreamland through the ages, as it is believed this will be more relevant to younger audiences.
