A Dover man has been jailed for four years after a shooting in the town.
Antoine Anicotte shot his friend with a gun bought in France and gave false information to police, which led to an innocent man being arrested.
The 18-year-old of Salisbury Road admitted he was reckless after injuring his friend who had to undergo surgery at the William Harvey Hospital before being transferred to a London hospital. He has since recovered.
