New species of lemurs that have been introduced to Howletts are expected to bring in new visitors. The red-bellied lemurs and black and crowned lemurs have been placed in the Walking with Lemurs experience.
The lemurs, which are native to the island of Madagascar, are hoped to breed soon to help with the park’s conservation programme. The big eyes and cute faces of the creatures are also expected to go down a treat with wildlife fans, and to also bring in some new visitors.
