Kent Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted robbery of a man in Folkestone. The 18-year-old was approached by 2 boys and a girl on Ship Street last Wednesday (July 4th) at around 10.15pm.
The three tried to take the man’s mobile phone, and the two boys reportedly punched the man, leaving bruising to his head. They were pulled off of their victim by two men, and all three ran off in the direction of Radnor Park.
The boys have been described as around 13 to 14-years-old, and the girl around 16-years old. Officers are particularly keen to speak to the two men who intervened, but anyone with any information should contact Kent Police on 101, quoting the reference number ZY/018567.
