Academy FM is based at two locations. Please do not turn up without an appointment.

 

The Folkestone Academy: The main studios and office is situated within the Secondary Academy, with visitor parking at the front of the building (Lucy Avenue entrance). Go to the school reception and say you're here for Academy FM.

 

The Glassworks: This central Folkestone studio is mainly used for evenings and weekends, and the occasional training or recording session in weekdays. It's at Creative Folkestone's Glassworks building, on Mill Bay. It's situated below Payers Park (which has a council car park at the top), and behind the Quarterhouse Theatre on Tontine Street. Parking on site is limited - ask beforehand. During weekday office hours walk up the path by Payers Park to the main Reception, and say you're here for Academy FM. After 6pm during the week, and all weekend, use the lower entrance on Mill Bay. There's a bell which flashes a light in the studio.
