The Aspinall Foundation, a world class conservation charity, dedicated to protecting endangered animals around the globe, was founded in 1984. Now, over 30 years on, the Foundation is known for returning captive bred animals to protected wilderness areas and reserves worldwide.
We work in conjunction with Howletts and Port Lympne wild animal parks, which are very different from conventional zoos. Our parks lead the way in animal care, enclosure design, enrichment and breeding success and are designed to be breeding sanctuaries for some of the world's most rare and endangered animals.
We rely on support from the general public to help us continue our vital conservation work. For example, it costs £2,000 to purchase a radio collar, which is an essential piece of kit that allows us to monitor the health and wellbeing of released animals in the wild.
It is important for us to promote our work and increase the awareness of our cause. Therefore, we were delighted to work with Academy FM, who have worked with us to promote our fun runs and animal adoption programme. Kay from Academy FM has a down-to-earth, professional approach, and offered us help and advice along the way. They created the script from the information we provided, and discussed what voices and style would best suit our organisation.
The process was effortless, from the initial meeting to the final sign-off, and we were thrilled with the end result. It was also encouraging to know the students had been involved in the process which we hope increased their knowledge of animal conservation.
Advertising with Academy FM was so easy - we provided the content and the children produced a great ad. All production was timely and to schedule. I would have no hesitation in using them again to advertise our events!
