The funeral of the 26-year-old Daniel Lloyd who was found dead in pond takes place this weekend.
The funeral is being held at St Mildred’s Church in Canterbury from noon and the family have asked people to wear bright colours.
A collection will be taking place during the service for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and homeless charity Catching Lives.
After the service, Canterbury Christchurch University’s Student Union will be hosting a tribute afternoon to Daniel from 3.30pm where there will be a £5 donation on entry.
The funeral of 17-year-old Hugo Wenn took place yesterday who was also discovered in Reed Pond, near Tennyson Avenue, Canterbury.
